Im looking too. You can order them from 2001 and newer for about $5 each. Ive got a few doubles when Im able to get around better I can look them up and we can wheel and deal. They been sending me 2 a month now? I called and sent an email so now I just enjoy the free one. The Jan-Feb one I got 3 of as I asked my wife to grab me an FFG and she got a 3rd Backwoodsman.

Soon as I can I'll go thru mine. Most of the old ones are in the basement and Im riding a wheelchair for a little while longer. Have you picked up the 4 best of Backwoodsman's? Well worth the money. I'd certainly be interested in the Trappers worlds. Ever read any of the Foxfire books? Ive collected them for years but the price of the new ones is way up there but alot of good old time info.

Any that Stickbow dont need I may be interested in. Backwoodshome is another good mag with a little more civilized spin. Ayoob's gun article is worth the price of the subscription.

Self reliance is the preferred term since survival or survivalist has a taint from the media/liberals. Say I believe in being self reliant a few eyebrows might be raised at the most. Say Im a survivalist and someone with friends and automatic weapons may show up at your door late one night. The Backwoodshome mag has alot of canning, gardening etc in it. Jackie Clays articles are awesome. Learned how to can meat from her. Knew members of the family that used to but theyre all gone now. After the articles we learned wifes aunt still cans meat and fish. Could start a whole another topic thingy about self relienace etc easy enough.
