I use this on almost all of my 110's for mink.
I figured I would share this little trick I use. The pictures that James had posted about the triggers he was putting on his traps made my mind up to share.
I like to use the 110 for mink at the right spots. I bend the trigger so that it is in the shape of a "U", I also flatten the ends of the trigger just a bit so the fishing line stays on. I cut pieces of clear 10# fishing line and tie each end to the trigger so that the fishing line is about 1" off the bottom, This sort of makes it hide a little bit. I set the trap so that the trigger is on the bottom when the trap is set and ready for action. I have used this on both dry land and in shallow water, but more on land.
Good luck out there folks, Remember traps is ment to be fun, if not is wouldnt be called a sport.
